Application
These reversing motor controllers are used for lull-voltage starting and reversing of squirrel-cage induction motors up to 600 horsepower. 600 Volts maximum.
These controllers are used for single-phase or poly-phase motors on applications where plugging and/or reversing operations are required.

Jogging Duty
The horsepower ratings shown in the pricing tables for CR309 reversing controllers are not to be used when operation requires continuous plug-stop or jogging (inching) duty at a rate in excess of five times per minute or 10 times in 10 minutes.

50-Hertz Forms
Pricing for 50-Hertz forms is the same as shown in tables for 60-Hertz reversing and combination reversing controllers.

Controllers Less Overload Relays
CR309 open NEMA Types 1 and 3R reversing motor controllers (with horizontal mechanical interlock) are available without overload relays.
